Additionally, the contract provides for deliverables in support of updating aircraft publications and kit installation, technical drawing package, Time Compliant Technical Order, parts list, weight and balance information, and an engineering change proposal. This sole source acquisition was procured pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. §3204(a)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Suppliers or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” LMAC is the sole designer, developer, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the C-130J/T aircraft and is the only known source with the necessary technical data, knowledge, proprietary drawings, and expertise with the subject aircraft to provide the required supplies and services.
