The XM914E1 is the only known and currently available solution that satisfies USMC requirements. The Government anticipates award of a hybrid Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee/Firm-Fixed-Price contract, with a period of performance of five years. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) \"Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation is the designer, developer, and producer of the XM914E1. This is not a request for competitive quotes. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements and past performance data no later than 1000 local time on 17 April 2025.
