The MCAS Cherry Point, NC Industrial Water Treatment Plant has a requirement for process chemicals (polymers and defoamers) required for water treatment and production for a period of one (1) base year and two (2) option year. After extensive engineering evaluation and studies, the products manufactured by Amerochem are the only products that have been tested and approved for water treatment at this facility. Therefore, the government intends to procure these chemicals on a sole source basis to Amerochem Corporation. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
