This procurement is to calibrate a mass flowmeter. The applicable NAICS for this requirement is 811210 per the Performance Work Statement. Badger Meter Inc. is the only sole authorized provider of calibration for mass flowmeter for the Navy per OPNAVINST 3960.16B and SER 24-024. Therefore, the government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis from Badger Meter Inc. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within four (4) calendar days after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
