Struers Inc.’s, propreitary data is crucial in the maintenance of this equipment as it is precision measuring equipment which are vital to MCAS Cherry Point. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required services as Struers Inc., is the original equipment manufacturer and have the proprietary data. Therefore, the government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis from Struers Inc., for the preventative and emergency maintenance of the Duramin 40-AC Hardness Tester. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
