## Description

**Please Read:** This is the notice of intent to award sole source. The governments contract with Applied Sciences and Information Systems INC. is expiring and it is in the governments best intrest that we have a follow on contract with Applied Sciences and Information Systems INC UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A). Since in the previous contract government personnel have already been trained and the website has already been custom built and desighned specifically for Camp Pendeltons needs. Please see attatchments for further details.

**Services Needed:** Provide a service to support and manage outdoor recreational access for authorized persons aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Ca. The Sikes Act (16 USC 670 et seq.) requires Military installations to provide access for hunting, fishing, trapping and other compatible activities to the extent that such access does not conflict with safety and military activities.

An outdoor recreational access management system is how the Marine Corps plans to issue and manage permits for the access of individuals to participate in recreational hunting and fishing programs and other outdoor activities. The outdoor recreational access management system shall also provide for the ability to control access for safety and accountability of recreationalists in the Camp Pendleton Training Areas.

Record keeping services required include user registration, permit issue, permit printing, customer support, and facilitate access records for check-ins and check-outs by permit holders into and out of the training areas.
