The Marine Corps is seeking industry feedback and capability statements from vendors able to supply items that meet the exact original specifications and performance requirements necessary to support CONUS travel and ceremonial show operations. CLIN 0002 – Upper Hand Guards Quantity: 125 Each Salient Characteristics Remanufactured to exact original M1 Garand upper hand guard specifications Unfinished wood to allow for unit?specific stain/finish application Heavy, durable bracing in the receiver heel and pistol/hand grip areas to withstand repeated CONUS travel and ceremonial performance Equipped with new, remanufactured metal sling/end caps, properly fitted to the wood to prevent loosening during performances Requested Information from Industry Interested vendors are invited to submit a capability statement addressing their ability to meet the requirements listed above.
