The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Marine Corps Installations–National Capital Region (MCI-NCR), Quantico, VA, intends to award a sole-source contract to: BAE Systems Information & Electronic Systems Integration Inc. 10920 Technology Place San Diego, CA 92127. This requirement is for the procurement of SOCET GXP licenses and associated maintenance support currently in use by the requesting activity. Based on market research and system ownership, BAE Systems is the only source capable of providing the required software and support. The RCO intends to award this action under the authority of FAR 13.1061(b)(1)(i), as the requirement does not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold and only one responsible source is identified.
