## Description

This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract using FAR part 12 and Part 13 procedures.

**Service Needed:** Requirement for the American Correctional Association Audit (ACA) for MCI-West Regional Brig, Camp Pendleton, California. The scope of work shall consist of furnishing all professional services, labor, equipment and materials, and performing all necessary travel and associated services required to identify the compliancy of the Military Confinement Facilities against current ACA standards and criteria. The required period of performance is 1 October 2024 through 30 November 2024. The Government intends to award on a Sole-Source basis to:

The American Correctional Association, 206 N Washington ST STE 200, Alexandria, VA. 22314, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

The reason for this Sole Source Award Intent is that due to market research and BUPERSINST 1640.22 paragraph 105 ACA Accreditation states: “To the greatest extent possible, national accreditation standards issued by the ACA shall be followed in determining corrections policies and administering shore brigs. ACA accredited brigs receive triennial accreditation audits”.

In order to be considered for award, an interested party/vendor must be capable of providing a 3-year accreditation audit in accordance with ACA national accreditation standards. All interested and/or responsible sources must email an estimate to the Contract Specialist, Sgt Robert Maher, by 23 August 2024, 12:00PM Eastern Time.
