The Landsat Next (LNext) mission is a joint mission being formulated, implemented, and operated by NASA and the Department of Interior (DOI) United States (U.S.) Geological Survey (USGS). LNext mission is the successor to the 50-years of Landsat legacy with enhancements and new capabilities in improved temporal revisits and improved spatial and spectral resolution. The principal purpose of the LNext SC procurement is to acquire three identical spacecraft for the integration of three identical observatories that will be launched simultaneously and operate as a constellation in a Low Earth Orbit. As part of this effort the contractor will design, analyze, develop, fabricate, procure, and integrate and test three identical SC. The SC contractor will integrate three identical instrument suites to each of the SC and perform environmental and mission readiness test campaigns on all three observatories. The SC contractor will deliver all three observatories to the launch site, provide a single launch vehicle adapter, and support launch site activities and the launch of all three observatories on a single launch vehicle. The SC contractor will support post-launch commissioning activities before handing the operations over to the government.
