The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Enterprise Medical Services Contracting Division (EMS-CD), Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to modify the existing Medical Support Services (MSS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to extend the ordering period for five (5) months pursuant to DFARS 217.204(e)(i)(B). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Description of Services: The Military Health System (MHS) requires continued non-personal medical support services to supplement medical staff at Department of Defense (DoD) Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) within the 50 United States of America, District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico with credentialed (privileged and non-privileged) and non-credentialed health care workers in the following support service labor categories: clerical, certified, specialized, and technical skills. Action(s) Being Taken: The existing ordering period on the MSS contracts will be extended to 31 March 2025; J&A attached. Medical Support Services (MSS) Modification to Extend the Ordering Period. Disclaimer: The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to modify existing contracts under the authority of FAR 6.302.
