## Description

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and 10 U.S.C. 2034 (c)(1). The intended award is to the One Lambda Inc., (CAGE 0PNH8) 22801 Roscoe Blvd., West Hills CA 91304. The Kidney Transplant Clinic at The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) requires molecular and serological reagents for transplant testing to ensure compatibility and matching between transplant donors and recipients.

This testing is crucial for reducing the risk of organ rejection. The reagents and test kits are from One Lambda, Inc. Reagents and test kits are designed to screen HLA Class I and II antibodies that are reactive to one or more dominant epitopes providing clinicians with comprehensive assay to evaluate antigens found frequently in the population.

One Lambda, Inc. reagents have been validated and approved by the accrediting agency for the Histocompatibility Lab, the American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI). To maintain accreditation, the Immunology Lab is required to use reagents that comply with ASHI’s stringent standards. The Contract will consist of one (1) twelve month contract The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325413 – In-Vitro diagnostic Substance Manufacturing.

This Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Contract is not a request for competitive proposals. Any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. All information received from this notice will be used for planning and market research purposes only. The determination to refrain from competing proposed contracts based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The Government will not pay for the preparation of any information submitted or use of such information. Do not submit a proposal in response to this notice. The Government will not pay for any costs associated with responses submitted for this notice. Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the assessment of the information received.
