Blood products must be FDA licensed and must be delivered within a reasonable amount of time (STAT - within 2 hours, ASAP - 4 hours, and routine - 1 to 2 days. Blood products include antigen tested units, HLA typed blood products, washed units, rare donor repository and testing services such as molecular testing and HLA typing.
