## Description

The USCG requires continued hardware and software licensing maintenance support for Trellix products, which are required to continue operations on USCG owned systems. The renewal of Trellix will ensure software licenses are maintained for standalone communications networks, which will provide secure and non-secure voice, radio, satellite and data transfer interoperability to CG units with local, state and federal agencies.

This brand name exception to fair opportunity for brand name Trellix software maintenance suppoort services is pursuant to FAR 16.505(a)(4)(i), restricitng items peculiar to one manufacturer. See the attached Brand Name Justification. This notice fulfills the posting requirements of FAR 16.505(b)(2)(ii)(D).
