## Description

The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Gallup Service Unit in Gallup, New Mexico intends to negotiate a single-source award with New Mexico Department of Health for Genetic screening tests for newborns. Tests, at minimum, must include:

3-methylcrotonyl-CoA deficiency; 3-OH 3-CH3 glutaric aciduria; argininosuccinic acidemia; mitochondrial acetoacetyl-CoA thiolase deficiency; biotinidase deficiency; carnitine uptake defect; citrullinemia; congenital adrenal hyperplasia; congenital hypothyroidism; cystic fibrosis; galactosemia; glutaric acidemia type I; Hb S/beta-thalassemia; hearing deficiency; homocystinuria; long-chain L-3-OH acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency; maple syrup urine disease; medium chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency; methylmalonic acidemia; multiple carboxylase deficiency; phenylketonuria; proponic acidemia; sickle cell anemia; trifunctional protein deficiency; tyrosinemia type I; and very long-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency.

NAICS 541380 with a small business set aside standard of $19.0 million applies. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b), purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold may be solicited from one source if it is determined that the circumstances of the contract deems only one source available. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent.

Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated services may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than 11:00 am MDT on August 5, 2024. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
