## Description

Replacement of two Pedestrian Gates with Access Controlled Gates Scope of Work Description:

**CONTRACT:** Provide labor, tools, sub-contractor oversight, miscellaneous hardware, and programming of a turnkey installation consisting of removing and replacing two pedestrian gates with custom made (Midwest Fence) electrically lockable gates with card access readers connected to two existing card access panels. This project includes the following activities:

1. Removal of existing pedestrian gates.

2. JULIE locates by Fermilab.

3. Use of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) for excavation areas prior to any saw cutting.

4. Saw cutting pavement as needed at two locations.

5. Hydro-excavation of trenches at two locations.

6. Install rigid steel conduit in trenches as needed.

7. Fermilab to provide GPS data collection prior to backfill/pavement repair.

8. Backfill all excavations with compacted limestone.

9. Repair all pavement with equal or greater thickness and type where removed, cold patch type material is not acceptable. 10.Installation of two custom pedestrian gates. 11.Installation of two remote pedestals with “Request To Exit”(REX) push buttons to unlock the gates from the non-secure side. 12.Installation of electronic hardware and wiring for readers, REX, and door locks. 13.Programming/ Testing and Acceptance.
