## Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Order under FAR SubPart 13.1, Procedure, 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. Circumstances of the contract action deem that only one source is reasonably available due to the unique nature of this requirement to include (1) brand name products essential to continuity of operations, (2) proximity to site, (3) familiarity with IRS site operations and (4) and existing security credentials.

The government intends to place an open market sole source order to Progressive Technologies, INC Systems for purchase and installation of network equipment to support the standup of a new IRS site in Cleveland, MS. Network equipment consist of purchase, installation and configuration of enterprise level switches (and related equipment to support the 150 new cubicles to comply with new mandated sizing standards with a performance period of 09/19/2024 through 02/01/2025.

Progressive Technologies resides in the local area and possesses a unique familiarly with the IRS site and project requirements/scope based on participation in earlier phases of the project. Responses to this notice will be evaluated by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability and respond to the requirement no later than 3:00 PM EST, September 13, 2022. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
