Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), Management & Operating Contractor of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) owned Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is seeking an Expression of Interest (EOI) from prospective Offerors to support the manufacture and assembly of one (1) Department of Energy Standard Canister (DOESC) mock-up that will be used to demonstrate manufacturability of the current design.

Upon successful fabrication of the mock-up DOESC, BEA may construct ten (10) DOESCs in support of the DOE Spent Nuclear Fuel (SNF) Road-Ready Demonstration Project (RRDP). Additional DOESCs and other components (e.g., SNF baskets) may be requested to support the RRDP. Following the RRDP, future DOE programs may require a significant number of DOESCs.
