The contractor shall also test and report the makeup water characteristics. The contractor shall chemically treat the water to keep systems free from scale, corrosion, and microbiological contamination. The contractor shall also treat the water to keep from freezing. The results of these inspections and testing along with the associated chemical treatment actions shall be summarized in a monthly report to the COR. The contractor shall provide all chemical testing reagents, testing kits, testing instrumentation, and treatment chemicals.
