Market research examined if there are other sources capable of providing the required PhysioMimix OOC Multi-Organ Standard System. It was determined that although there are multiple vendors in the market capable of providing similar equipment, the similar equipment does not meet all Government Minimum Essential Characteristics (MECs). Further, CN Bio Innovations does not have any authorized resellers. Therefore, CN Bio Innovations is determined to be the only vendor capable of providing a system that meets all requirements of the Government. As a result, the Government intends to make an award to CN Bio Innovations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516 Analytical Lab Instrument Manufacturing This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201. This Special Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation document exists for this requirement; however, if a vendor challenges the basis for this requirement, please submit a capability statement that includes sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide the equipment identified within this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
