## Description

**NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE:** This notice announces the intent by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) in support of the U.S. Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL) to award a firm-fixed priced, sole source, contract to Image Systems Trackeye, Inc., 17288 W. Corrine Driver, Surprise, AZ 95388-5716 for licensing, software support and maintenance on five (5) Image System TemaPro licenses (3-TemaPro, 1-TemaPro 3D, and 1-TemaPro 6D).

This software and corresponding services must be purchased directly from the manufacturer, Image Systems Trackeye, Inc. There are no authorized licensed resellers; Image Systems Trackeye Inc. is the sole distributor of the products. As a result, the Government intends to make an award to Image Systems Trackeye, Inc. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541511 – Custom Computer Programming. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201.

This Special Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation document exists for this requirement; however, if a vendor challenges the basis for this requirement, please submit a capability statement that includes sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide the equipment identified within this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement or a sole source procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
