## Description

A quote is being requested in response to this solicitation HT9425-24-Q-0020. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) service contract on behalf of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) located at Fort Detrick, 1425 Porter Street, Frederick, MD 21702. USAMRIID has a requirement for a service contract to provide for the storage of DNA vaccine materials as well as associated shipment services.

The contract will consist of one, 12-month base period followed by four, 12-month option periods for a total of 60 months. The storage facility must be within a fifty (50) mile vicinity of Frederick, Fort Detrick, Maryland. The storage facility must have Good Manufacturing Practises (GMP) certification to include quality assurance to ensure medical products are stored under consistently controlled to quality standards. Materials to be stored are DNA vaccines targeting hantaviruses and alphaviruses:

1) bacterial cell banks that need to be stored at -70C or colder;

2) vialed plasmid DNA – vaccine vials that need to be stored at -20C or colder. The quantity to be stored will be up to eight boxes of cell banks and up to 6,000 vaccine vials. In addition to storage, the contractor shall have the capacity to ship DNA vaccine materials to clinical sights and/or manufacturers.
