This patient requires this implant system due to the patients anatomy and injury pattern. The patient has a proximal humerus fracture and is indicated for reverse shoulder arthroplasty. The patient has a very small glenoid as well as moderate superior inclination. This system offers a lower profile glenoid baseplate as well as providing a mechanism for surgical planning and correction of the deformity. Because these are proprietary components distributed exclusively by the OEM, there is no reasonable expectation of receiving quotes from two (2) or more small businesses.
