The proposed source is HAEMONETICS CORPORATION. This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract. **Reference#:** HT941024N0142. DHACA HCD-W on behalf of Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), intends to award a firm fixed price contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source being available to meet the Government’s needs, to: HAEMONETICS CORPORATION 400 WOOD ROAD BRAINTREE, MA 02184-2412 This requirement has period of performance from 1 OCT 2024 to 30 SEPTEMBER 2027 (base + 2 options). This requirement is to provide all services, materials and equipment necessary for the repair/preventive maintenance of four (4) Haemonetics equipment with serial number 19C021SPG (ECN 154431), 19C022SPG (SN 154430), 19C024SPG (SN 154432) and 19C026SPG (SN 154429), located at the Blood Donor Center at Naval Medical Center, San Diego (NMCSD) to ensure dependable and reliable equipment operation. The scope of work performed under these specifications includes the furnishing of all labor, and parts to perform all repairs on equipment listed, to assure continued operation at their designed efficiency and capacity. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334516 – Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing . This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
