ABACUS is a cloud-hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) providing billing and collection capabilities to Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in support of the Department of Defense (DoD)'s financial management and healthcare operations. The replacement for ABACUS is currently in development, and the new task order will ensure the continued operation, maintenance, support, and transition to the new solution. The task order is planned for a six-month base period with two additional six-month option periods. GDIT, as the incumbent provider, is critically positioned to sustain essential billing functions during this transitional period, preventing significant disruptions to the Military Health System’s operations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and services, prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 and supplemented with additional information provided in this notice.
