## Description

The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Ft Sam Houston, TX intends to issue a sole source award to Connell USA, Inc. for one year. The award will be executed as a sole source as continued support of Connexall Software Support Maintenance which is a sophisticated end-to-end integration and communication platform designed to transform healthcare communication within hospitals.

Connexall Software is a sole source product, manufactured, sold and implemented exclusively by Connexall USA, Inc. Failure to renew Connexall Software Support Maintenance will potentially reduce the ability of clinical staff to react/support critical patient support/treatment. Connexall is the only source capable of providing the communication platform that work with the current vendor’s application to provide an interface with Nurse Call or Physiological Monitoring.

Not having Connexall Software and Support Maintenance would cause loss of service in Solutions Delivery Division (SDD). Connexall maintenance is required to maintain commonality of the software used throughout Enterprise Clinical Voice Communications (ECVC) formerly known as Vocera is a means for clinicians, staff, and patients to communicate and collaborate immediately in real time. The application provides HIPAA compliant text messaging that is encrypted and traceable.

The application allows the user to connect to the right person with role-based routing of calls and texts. It allows device of choice, iPad, Android smart phones and tablets. From a clinical standpoint, the users can receive critical care information at the point of care and well as conferencing with clinicians off-site. Provides the ability to access Waveforms, vital signs, and background patient information from remote locations.

Patient, event, and care team actions/treatment/events are available via messages, notifications, and calls. Facilitates the ability for the user to get help in urgent or emergency situations with the touch of a button. All interested sources may submit an authorized letter from the manufacturer with detailed information and convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the authority to provide Connexall Software for the Renewal Application as outlined above.
