Aesculap, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the activeL Artificial Disc ALIF systems. Due to the proprietary rights, Aesculap, Inc. is the manufacturer and distributor of the activeL Artificial Disc systems. The system or parts of the system are not sold and/or distributed by any other commercial entity. Disclaimer: The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to sole source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
