(CAGE: 1FJJ9) The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”. The contract is intended to procure the breast cancer index that analyzes the activity of 11 genes to help predict the risk of early-stage, hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer coming back 5 to 10 years after diagnosis. These tests analyze a sample of a cancer tumor to see how active certain genes are. The activity level of these genes affects the behavior of the cancer, including how likely it is to grow and spread. Genomic tests are used to help make decisions about whether more treatments after surgery would be beneficial. . Biotheranostics Inc is the only vendor that owns the proprietary copyrights of this testing. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
