## Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE / PROPOSAL The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Northeastern Healthcare Operations Contracting Division (NEHO-CD), on behalf of Walter Reed National Military Medical Medical Center, in support of the Emergency Room requirement for a company that has an active affiliation with an accredited medical academic institution that can provide academic physicians and academic physician assistants, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Medical Faculty Associates, Inc., 2150 Pennsylavania Ave. NW, Washington DC 20037-3201, CAGE: 1VHT7 Based on information obtained (with clarifications) from the market place in reponse to Sources Sought HT001425S0001, the anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The contract is intended to procure academic emergency physicians and emergency physician assistants that have continued employment and academic-affiliation with an accredited academic Emergency Department (ED)that teaches medical students and Emergency Medicine residents and has fellowship training in Emergency Medicine subspecialities. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in reponse to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.

Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is soley within discretion of the Government.
