The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a contract to a Contractor to furnish the subscription database: UpToDate (Wolters Kluwer). These services are critical for patient care and security and no other Contractors will be considered for the bridge award. This Individual Justification is submitted to award a bridge contract for the commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) database, UpToDate (Wolters Kluwer). This database from the publisher Wolters Kluwer is a first-line, comprehensive, and primary source of clinical information and guidance for the Department of the Army, which include and consist of medical and clinical support functions, all medical-related personnel regardless of location. This contract will be Firm-Fixed Price. The Period of Performance is for a one-month Base period and two (2) three-month Option Periods, 19 April 2024 to 18 November 2024.
