This solicitation seeks to transition concepts into future missile defense interceptors or cost saving upgrades to legacy interceptors. Future interceptors include but are not limited to MDA Low-Cost Interceptor (LCI), Glide Phase Interceptor, Next Generation Interceptor, Navy Modular Missile, etc. Legacy interceptors include standard missile 3 (SM-3), and THAAD. Solutions may include complete kill vehicles or kill vehicle subsystems.
