DFAS-I&T Infrastructure Services requires VMware software maintenance for one year. This is a brand name purchase for VMware software that is currently running on the DFAS infrastructure. DFAS I&T Infrastructure Services require the maintenance renewal of VMware software licenses and technical support for one year utilized on the DFAS infrastructure. VMware servers are being used to quickly and easily prototype numerous DFAS infrastructure server configurations by enabling the easy creation and roll-out of virtual machines emulating physical machines at all production sites.
