## Description

AMENDMENT 1 TO THE RFQ May 24, 2024 This amendment is being issued for two reasons:

1) To provide answers to vendor questions. Please see attachment RFQ Questions and Responses.

2) To provide information about where in the building deep water sinks abd hose bibs are. See attachment Enclosure 2 Floor Plan Water Connections. There are no other changes to this RFQ. END

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Rome, New York (DFAS-RO) has a requirement for Carpet Cleaning services at the DFAS-RO facility, Building 1. This requirement is for one base and four option years. This is an Unrestricted requirement. Normal traffic areas will be cleaned twice yearly and high-traffic areas will be cleaned each quarter. Reference the Synopsis/Solicitation document for complete details.

**MANDATORY Site Visit:** A MANDATORY site visit is required. This MANDATORY site visit is scheduled on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time at DFAS-RO. Schedule your attendance at the site visit by contacting James Seamans, james.m.seamans.civ@mail.mil. If you do not attend the MANDATORY site visit, your quote will not be considered for award.

**Questions:** Questions will be answered at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Questions may be submitted until May 22, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time.
