## Description

This acquisition is for the FY25 renewal of Red Hat licenses and maintenance/support. The Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop licenses are used outside the network security infrastructure for network response time troubleshooting. The Red Hat Enterprise Linux Platform licenses are required to support the DFAS Computer Network Defense team central security event and correlation database. This maintenance also provides 24/7 technical support and is required in order for DFAS to access patches and upgrades released for these products as mandated by DoD security policies.
