## Description

GEOINT Search and Retrieval (GSR) through a Unified Data Catalog THIS IS A NOTICE ONLY. This notice is issued solely for planning purposes. NGA is not seeking any responses at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. As the GEOINT Search and Retrieval (GSR) contract ends in late 2027, NGA has the intent to gain efficiencies and examine a more streamlined architecture approach to combine the unified catalog for NGA holdings with the federated search and retrieval capability.

NGA will be publishing a Request for Information (RFI) in 1st Quarter FY2027, exploring the opportunities for commercial, government, and hybrid solutions to meet the aggregated requirements and identifying best in class solutions. In addition to exploring solutions to streamline the architecture, NGA will also be looking for vendors to address the increase in mission and business data holdings that will need to be federated and made accessible to the Intelligence, DoW, and warfighter community.

NGA will be looking for AI-enabling and automated workflow solutions in the upcoming RFI responses. Modern federated data protocols, specifically addressing GEOINT data, and leveraging efficiencies in cloud computing will be fundamental. NGA will be seeking input to acquisition methods , including CSOs, OTAs, or traditional FAR methods.

This will be included in the market research readying NGA to proceed with a formal acquisition in mid to late 2027. The information in this notice is current as of the publication date but is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. The Government will not pay for information nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information to be provided to the Government. Please direct any questions with this acquisition notice to Erika Hessler, Erika.S.Hessler@nga.mil.
