These test kits and accompanying reader/laptop, controls, reagents, and tubes are validated and approved to maintain the College of American Pathologists and ISO 17025 accreditation for our laboratory. The Geenius HIV-1/HIV-2 Supplemental assay is the only Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved HIV test that distinguishes between HIV-1 and HIV-2. These kits, reader/laptop, reagents, and tubes, are only manufactured and available from Bio-Rad, U.S. Division Clinical Diagnostics Group This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested parties may identify their interest and submit documentation of their capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within six (6) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.
