## Description

This Request for Information (RFI) is being published for purposes of market research (FAR Part 10) to determine the level of industry interest and identify potential sources capable of providing an annual HAZMAT Locker Fire System Inspection, maintenance, and repair service at Joint Expeditionary Base – Fort Story, Virginia. Formal quotes from industry are not being requested or accepted at this time.

Information received from this RFI notification will be used to ascertain potential market capability and determine the acquisition strategy (ex. full and open/small business set-aside, etc.). The Government’s intent is to release a Request for Quote (RFQ), which will be posted on the sam.gov website after finalization of the acquisition strategy.

The Government’s intent is to award one Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order with one base year and four one-year option periods for an annual inspection, maintenance, and repair service of HAZMAT Locker’s Fire System. If you are interested and can support this requirement, please respond back with, at minimum, your company’s name and CAGE Code. Additional Information regarding the HAZMAT lockers to be inspected: See Attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS).
