No current stands exist for maintenance purposes on the cargo door areas of the KC-46. The current stands for the crew entry door only allows for entry and does not account for any future work around the area. The attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the purchase of four (4) sets of the KC-46 Maintenance Platform System to include a complete design, fabrication, inspection, testing, documentation, delivery, equipment installation, work stand assemblies, labor and other incidentals necessary to provide the KC-46 Maintenance Platform Systems. The Contractor shall be responsible for insuring all services, parts and components provided under this contract are in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions outlined in this Statement of Work (SOW). Each set of the KC-46 Maintenance Platform System shall include one (1) main deck cargo door stand, two (2) lower lobe cargo door stands, and one (1) crew entry door stand. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. The site visit will take place on 29 July 2024 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
