## Description

**SOURCES SOUGHT:** THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

This announcement serves as a sources sought notice for the upcoming competitive acquisition for the United States Air Force Academy Cadet Parade Uniform requirement. The Sources Sought number is FY26_USAFA_Parade_Uniforms and shall be used to reference any written responses to this sources sought. The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) issues clothing and uniform items to cadet throughout their tenure at USAFA. The Parade Uniforms are part of the Cadet’s clothing issue.

These uniforms must be made in accordance with the attached USAFA Specifications. A first article will be required in accordance with FAR 52.209-4 Alt 1. Bar codes will be required for these uniforms in compliance with Code 39 or UPC Bar Code. The contractor will be responsible for procuring the fabric for each uniform item, with the exception of the Men’s and Women’s Parade Coats. The Government will issue Government Furnished Material (GFM) to the contractor to manufacture the outer-shell of the Parade Coats.

The contractor will be responsible for providing try-on garments for this acquisition and they will become government property. The Buy American Act and Berry Amendment requirements will apply to this acquisition. The estimated quantities per year for each item is as follows:

0001 Parade, Coat, Mens 900 EA 0002 Parade, Coat, Wmns 340 EA 0003 Parade, Bibbers, Unisex 3500 EA The draft specifications for each item are attached. Please indicate interest in this upcoming acquisition using the interested vendors listing associated with this notice. Has your company produced similar uniform items in the past? Does your company have previous experience sourcing Berry Amendment compliant materials?
