## Description

Scientific Rainfall Simulator-Soil Health Demonstration Trailer and Accessories. The SRS-SHDT and accessories required by NRCS are used in soil science and health to study and convey soil and hydrologic concepts including runoff, storage and infiltration of soils in various managements and cover types. Natural rainfall rates pose challenges to experimentation and demonstration due to variable and unpredictable timing and intensity of rainfall and is impossible to reproduce.

Using simulated rainfall significantly improves the study of erosion, surface runoff, and leaching in a portable environment for study and demonstration. The specifications below are necessary to conduct studies by NRCS soil health points of contact in the performance of their duties.
