## Description

The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at the Oklahoma Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating procuring the Seat Bearing for the F100-PW-220 Core Engine Module. The contemplated requirement cited below is for a strategic one-time buy and will be a Full and Open Competition.

**Seat, Bearing, Aircraft NSN:** 3110-01-454-4610NZ P/N:4083144 QTY: 88 EA First Article and Qualification Requirements. See attachment for complete synopsis details. This synopsis is subject to the “Availability of Funds” Clause FAR 52.232-18: Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made.

No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.

**Qualification Requirements:** Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained, and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards.
