The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line (MECPL) intends to award a firm-fixed-price definite contract as a result of this synopsis/solicitation for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified technical representatives as outlined in Attachment 2. It is anticipated that a non-competitive contract shall be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. All technical representatives must be certified by the OEM who currently holds the proprietary rights to all technical data, Fairbanks Morse, LLC. Market Research reveals that Fairbanks Morse, LLC is the only source that can provide the certified technical representatives to support, both remotely and on-site, the Welin Lambie TW.PIV 5.0B davit in accordance with this solicitation and the attached specification titled, Statement of Work Welin Lambie Davit Support Services (Attachment 2).
