## Description

Amendment A00001 - Corrected Section 4 Purpose, 2nd para to read "In responding to the Contractor Capability Statements detailed in Section 8" and added attachment FLITES RFI REH v2. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.

The Enterprise Logistics Readiness Portfolio (AFLCMC/GBS), under the Business and Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio is conducting market research seeking vendor interest for future development of the FLITES system. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal (RFP), or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services.

Your response to this RFI will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort.

The information provided is considered market research and may be used by the Air Force in developing its acquisition strategy, Statement of Objectives (SOO) or Performance Work Statement (PWS), and performance specifications. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government reserves the right to contact the submitting parties, on an as-required basis, for further clarification on material provided.

The Government reserves the right to contact additional customers to obtain information that will be used to evaluate the offeror’s interest. FLITES is a Government developed, web-based, software application providing a foundational baseline to satisfy complex item cataloging and provisioning requirements and position the Air Force to generate and manage comprehensive, accurate and reliable item specific data within the USAF logistics enterprise.

It will provide enterprise users with the breadth and depth of accurate item data necessary to support and enable dependent processes, initiatives, programs and transformational concepts. The integration and implementation of existing Air Force Item Management Systems capability builds upon the current FLITES baseline and will provide a holistic solution for integrated item management.

Please see the attached Sources Sought (SS)/Request For Informaiton (RFI) for additional information and the draft Performance Work Statement for the system description. This draft PWS does not represent the exact requirements that will be provided with any future official RFP but is considered similar in size and scope to the anticipated requirement. Please read all attachment and review all instructions carefully when responding to this SS/RFI.
