The implementation will consist of an Open Mission Systems (OMS) compliant Mission Package that will enable more rapid integration, testing and fielding of capabilities provided by OMS subsystems and/or services. The USAF presently has plans to transition part of its fleet to OMS Tier 1, Standard 1.5. The USAF is interested in determining if there is a business case to upgrade to OMS Tier 2 and/or OMS standard 2.2. This RFI seeks information on unique and innovative products that can deliver relevant capability efficiently, timely and at a reduced life-cycle cost through implementation via the MQ-9A’s OMS Mission Package. The objective is to identify and deliver capability that support the ISR/Strike mission(s) across the wide range of military operations.
