## Description

**UPDATE 5 SEPT 25:** This pre-solicitation notice is requesting industry feedback for market research purposes. Please see attachment #2 for details about the request for information as well as the data worksheet.

This pre-solicitation notice is to leverage the Interested Vendor List feature herein for market research purposes. The below strategy is being contemplated and is pre-decisional. The primary purpose of this Air Force Research Laboratories (AFRL) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), henceforth referenced as AMAC, is to provide an agile and rapid contracting vehicle to acquire AFRL enterprise Science and Technology (S&T) needs.

The anticipated scope of the AMAC includes all unclassified AFRL-funded research and development (R&D) to include basic and applied research, data science and analytics, technology development, digital architecture, modeling and simulation, manufacturing and fabrication, experimentation and testbed development, integration and demonstration, and technology transition to military capabilities.

The intent of this AMAC is to leverage the MAC IDIQ awardee pool to award AFRL decentralized fair opportunity task orders (TOs) or delivery orders (DOs). Decentralized Fair Opportunity Proposal Requests (FOPR) are anticipated to be issued by specific AFRL directorates. This anticipated contracting vehicle is at the AFRL enterprise level and should not be confused with AFRL technical directorate (TD) specific IDIQs and MACs.

Being a part of an AFRL TD IDIQ/MAC does not automatically qualify performers to be part of the AMAC, nor does it automatically qualify performers to be awarded under the AMAC. This vehicle will not be used for Advisory and Assistance (A&AS) requirements. This pre-solicitation notice is for market research purposes and is pre-decisional.
