## Description

This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS)/Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes and market research only; it does not constitute a solicitation. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expenses associated with preparing/submitting information in response to this posting. The information provided may be used by the Government in developing its acquisition strategy, statement of work/statement of objectives, and/or performance specifications.

Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained within their response as instructed later in this posting.

BACKGROUND AND SCOPE The United States (US) Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance & Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate,Special Warfare Program Office (AFLCMC/WISN) is conducting market research to identify ergonomically designed, human-centered systems capable of integrating the existing tactical computing devices, fielded communications devices, targeting & other tactical equipment, and various fielded power sources.

The solution will provide a highly configurable, man portable, body-worn, modular, easy-to-use system that connects and integrates current and future tactical equipment mounted/integrated on tactical vests and other Modular Lightweight Load-Carry Equipment MOLLE capable products.

**CAPABILITY GAP:** Special Warfare requires a small, lightweight, portable, rugged, and configurable body-worn system that integrates existing dismounted peripherals/equipment to include, but not limited to:

**Tactical Comping Device:** Example Samsung S23 TE. Power generation and management, connecting/integrate fielded power solutions: Examples Handheld Radio batteries, BB 5590s, and other commonly used power sources. Communication and VDL equipment:

**Examples:** AN/PRC-161/163/167), ISR/VDL (TNR).

**GPS:** Examples RSR, DAGR, and emerging M-code products. Range/Bearing equipment: Examples PLRF 25C The Next-Gen OCS will explore emerging technologies to positively impact tactical operations, providing operators with a decisive advantage, enabling a transformation in how operators plan and execute tactical operations. Emerging technologies will be evaluated for viability. Known examples include:

Central “Smart” HUB: Storage, system management, host a server (example; TAK Server), run message engines (example BADL/ATRAX) Cross-domain solution (Unclassified to Classified Networks) Existing NIAP/CSfC compliance or removable hard-drive/storage Systems successfully fielded to US Military Organizations
