To meet emerging mission needs, the Government requires a newly designed Advanced Wing Weapons Pylon (AWWP) that incorporates MIL-STD-1760 series heavy weapon capability. The anticipated acquisition strategy targets a 36-month EMD phase culminating in a Critical Design Review (CDR). Upon successful completion of the EMD phase, the design must be ready for integration with required support equipment, transitioning immediately into the production of 20 to 24 pylons (with a minimum delivery of 12 pylons in the first year). Key Objectives for Industry Feedback: Assess the feasibility of the proposed 36-month EMD timeline to CDR and production timeline. Identify vendors with the engineering expertise to design and manufacture heavy weapons carriage systems (>5,000 lbs capacity). Inform the Government's overall Acquisition Strategy. Note: Physical work locations may vary, and interested parties must be willing and able to travel.
