REQUIREMENTS: The Government requires a High Temperature Black Body system that meets the mandatory technical requirement of a 3,000°C maximum operating temperature. This performance capability is essential to conduct high-fidelity research and education in optical engineering, supporting critical national defense objectives. Technical market research indicates that only systems manufactured by Integrated Procurement Technologies (IPT) can meet this requirement. This notice is issued to validate these findings. SUBMISSION DETAILS: Interested parties are requested to submit a capability package that provides clear and convincing evidence of their ability to provide a High Temperature Black Body system. In addition, interested parties must provide the following information: Company Name, Address, CAGE Code, and Unique Entity ID (UEI). Point of Contact (Name, Phone Number, and Email Address). Company business size status under NAICS code 334516. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. CLOSING: Responses to this Sources Sought notice must be submitted via email no later than Friday, 30 January 2026, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.
