The data recorded during flight operations is written to a solid state media device prepared by the CMDP software. After flight, the TADS units provide a download solution to extract the IRIG 106 Chapter 10 files from the flight media, process the data, and transfer the data to end users via Secure File Transfer Protocol. This download is handled by a logic controlled process that provides isolation between circuit board components and external interfaces in order to meet stringent security requirements.
