## Description

PLEASE SUBMIT ALL RESPONSES USING THE ATTACHED RFI TEMPLATE TO geoffrey.bender.1@us.af.mil, elijah.simmons.4@us.af.mil , and julie.mckillip.ctr@us.af.mil

**Current Software:** Ubuntu Pro – 150 licenses Requirement: P1 (Platform One) currently utilizes Ubuntu Pro + Support (24/7) service licenses on a continuous basis, directly supporting its DevSecOps (Development, Security, and Operations) across the organization. The Ubuntu Pro tool suite is used to facilitate, streamline, and deliver software development while providing the program more efficient methods to capture data and deliverables.

These tools are required to support existing and current software development teams across all the P1 Value Streams (Iron Bank, Big Bang, Party Bus, CNAP, and Cyber). Enterprise and corporate customers may have to comply with standards such as FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program) or HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Ubuntu Pro helps to attain compliance by providing a security-hardened version of Ubuntu.

Ubuntu Pro incorporates NIST-certified FIPS cryptographic modules and implements the recommendations in the Ubuntu Security Guide to CIS (Center for Internet Security) and DISA-STIG (Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides) guidelines and best practices. P1’s requirements are for K8’s Real Time Cost Monitoring in support of its DoD mission-enabling projects and programs.

The application must display this data (costs for memory, CPU, GPU, storage, etc.) on the same network that the scan is initiated on; display costs broken out by K8s component (container, pod, service, deployment, etc.); and track the costs of “out of cluster” resources, such as Simple Storage Service (S3) buckets in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Each statement will detail the tasks and standards it will utilize in performance to this contract up to and/or exceed the objectives listed.

Ubuntu Pro includes a suite of advanced security features. These features include kernel live patching, which allows for security patches to be applied without rebooting the system, and extended security maintenance, which provides security updates beyond the end-of-life date of the standard Ubuntu release. Pro also includes a simplified installation process and a pre-configured image that is optimized for use in production environments. Please provide information on the following:

1. Alternative License Types:? What other licensing/solutions do you offer? For each licensing option/solution set, please provide how it differs from the listed license. For each licensing option/solution set, please provide how it is similar from the listed license. For each licensing option/solution set, please provide how it meets the above requirements.

**2. Pricing Information:** For each license, please provide estimated transition and training costs and schedule for both transitioning to and from your proposed solution? For each license, please provide any price plans associated such as monthly, trial, annual? What is the breakeven point for purchasing an enterprise version of the requested license?

3. Other Considerations:? Are there any additional features or benefits associated with the different licenses that we should consider? Is your company willing to enter into contracts with a base year with up to four one-year options? If not, how many years is your company willing to agree to? Is your company willing to provide trial licenses and if so with what time frames? We are eager to find a solution that will best support our needs and ensure continued productivity.

Please Note:?No award will be made under this RFI. Only a warranted Contracting Officer can obligate on behalf of the United States Government and that will be executed through an official request for?quote?(RFQ). The Government reserves the right to cancel this RFI. In the event the Government cancels this RFI, the Government has no obligation to pursue procurement or to reimburse an Offeror for any costs.?
